Tennessee High School Basketball - Maryville overwhelms Loudon
January 12, 2023: Maryville, TN 37803 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Maryville Red Rebels (Maryville, TN) and the visiting Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), saw Maryville's basketball squad wallop Loudon by a tally of 83-53.
With the victory, Maryville improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Red Rebels travel to Heritage (Maryville, TN) to battle the Mountaineers in a 4A District 4 battle on Friday, January 13. The Mountaineers come into the battle with a record of 9-7. Heritage lost 44-39 in their recent non-league battle against Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN)
The Redskins (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against McMinn County (Athens, TN). The Cherokees come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, McMinn County trounced Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN), 68-60, in a league battle.
