January 12, 2023: New Prague, MN 56071 The New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN) basketball knocked off the host New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN), 78-68 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Worthington (Worthington, MN). The Trojans go into the AAA Section 2 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Worthington notched a victory over Luverne (Luverne, MN), 65-54, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Albert Lea for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. New Prague will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 107-51 non-league loss to Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 3-7.
