Louisiana High School Basketball - Oberlin overwhelms Oak Hill
January 12, 2023: Oberlin, LA 70655 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Oberlin Tigers (Oberlin, LA) and the visiting Oak Hill Rams (Hineston, LA), saw Oberlin's basketball squad wallop Oak Hill by a tally of 71-44.
With the victory, Oberlin improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Gueydan (Gueydan, LA) to confront the Bears in a 1A District 5 challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Gueydan lost 69-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Iota (Iota, LA)
Next up, the Rams confront the Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA) in a B District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Oak Hill will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 15-12 record after their 79-66 league loss to Anacoco (Anacoco, LA).
