New Jersey High School Basketball - Delaware Valley holds off Belvidere
January 12, 2023: Belvidere, NJ 07823 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ) and the host Belvidere County Seaters (Belvidere, NJ), saw Delaware Valley's basketball squad hold off Belvidere by a tally of 47-46.
With the victory, Delaware Valley improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Terriers host Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ) to confront the Stateliners in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Stateliners come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Phillipsburg lost 60-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ)
Next up, the County Seaters confront the Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Belvidere will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 41-39 league win over Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ).
