Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) and the host Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA), saw Eastern Montgomery's basketball squad wallop Bland County by a tally of 50-25.

With the victory, Eastern Montgomery improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Narrows (Narrows, VA) to confront the Green Waves in a Pioneer challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Green Waves come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.
