Washington High School Basketball - Monroe overwhelms Cascade
January 12, 2023: Monroe, WA 98272 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) and the visiting Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA), saw Monroe's basketball squad wallop Cascade by a tally of 76-39.
With the victory, Monroe improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Mountlake Terrace (Mountlake Terrace, WA) to play the Hawks in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Friday, January 13. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Mountlake Terrace won 60-57 in their recent league challenge against Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA)
Next up, the Bruins play the Arlington Eagles (Arlington, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 66-52 league win over Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA).
