Washington High School Basketball - Monroe crushes Edmonds-Woodway
January 20, 2023: Edmonds, WA 98026 Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Edmonds-Woodway Warriors (Edmonds, WA), 60-29 in a league bout.
With the victory, Monroe upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Foster (Tukwila, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Foster won 54-14 in their recent league bout against Lindbergh (Renton, WA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Mountlake Terrace Hawks (Mountlake Terrace, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Edmonds-Woodway will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 43-33 league win over Shorewood (Shoreline, WA).
