Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ) and the visiting Whippany Park Wildcats (Whippany, NJ), saw Mountain Lakes's basketball squad wallop Whippany Park by a tally of 39-14.

With the victory, Mountain Lakes improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Lakers host Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-5.
