Ohio High School Basketball - Peebles overwhelms West Union
January 12, 2023: Peebles, OH 45660 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Peebles Indians (Peebles, OH) and the visiting West Union Dragons (West Union, OH), saw Peebles's basketball squad wallop West Union by a count of 66-35.
With the victory, Peebles upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Southeastern won 43-38 in their recent league challenge against Piketon (Piketon, OH)
Next up, the Dragons play the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH) in a Southern Hills challenge, on Thursday, January 19. West Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 70-44 league win over Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH).
