The Scotlandville Hornets (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA), 59-16 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Hornets (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Northwood (Lena, LA). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Northwood was trounced by Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA), 65-31, in a non-league test.

The Green Devils now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they host White Castle for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Plaquemine will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-29 non-league loss to Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
