December 21, 2022: Houma, LA 70363 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA), by a margin of 59-37.
The Patriots (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Tigers go into the 4A District 7 outing with a 1-0 record.
The Green Devils now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Savior Menard for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 27. Plaquemine will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 64-26 non-league win over Tioga (Tioga, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-2.
