Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) and the visiting Tower Hill Hillers (Wilmington, DE), saw Sanford's basketball squad wallop Tower Hill by a tally of 79-39.

With the victory, Sanford improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA) to play the in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 15. The come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Mt. St. Joseph Academy won 46-40 in their recent league challenge against Villa Joseph Marie (Holland, PA)

Next up, the Hillers play the Concord Raiders (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Tower Hill will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 66-31 non-league win over McKean (Wilmington, DE).
