Iowa High School Basketball - Turkey Valley crushes Tripoli
January 12, 2023: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA), 60-13 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Turkey Valley upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to play the Warriors in a Upper Iowa bout on Friday, January 13. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 3-9. South Winneshiek lost 49-9 in their recent league bout against Central (Elkader, IA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) in a Iowa Star bout, on Friday, January 13. Tripoli will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 61-18 league loss to Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA).
