Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Postville Pirates (Postville, IA) and the visiting Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA), saw Postville's basketball squad hold off Tripoli by a tally of 41-40.

With the victory, Postville improves its record to 2-14 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Central (Elkader, IA) to confront the Warriors in a Upper Iowa challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 15-0. Central won 77-21 in their recent league challenge against West Central (Maynard, IA)
