Virginia High School Basketball - Franklin County fells Patrick Henry
January 12, 2023: Rocky Mount, VA 24151 Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA), 32-18 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Franklin County upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Eagles host Byrd (Vinton, VA) to play the Terriers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Byrd won 30-26 in their recent non-league bout against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Patrick Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 32-27 non-league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
