Virginia High School Basketball - Warren County holds off Liberty
January 12, 2023: Bealeton, VA 22712 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA) and the host Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), saw Warren County's basketball squad hold off Liberty by a tally of 46-45.
With the victory, Warren County improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Meridian (Falls Church, VA) to confront the Mustangs in a challenge on Friday, January 13. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Meridian lost 38-37 in their recent non-league challenge against James Wood (Winchester, VA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 53-39 non-league loss to Millbrook (Winchester, VA).
