New York High School Basketball - Beekmantown overwhelms AuSable Valley
January 12, 2024: Clintonville, NY 12924 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) and the host AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), saw Beekmantown's basketball squad wallop AuSable Valley by a tally of 72-32.
With the victory, Beekmantown improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Peru (Peru, NY) to confront the Nighthawks in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Peru lost 70-37 in their recent league challenge against Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Northern Adirondack Bobcats (Ellenburg Depot, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. AuSable Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 70-37 league win over Peru (Peru, NY).
