Texas High School Basketball - Lake Belton knocked off by Chaparral
January 12, 2024: Killeen, TX 76542 The Chaparral Bobcats basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Lake Belton Broncos to 68 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 14-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belton for a 5A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Chaparral will meet a Tigers team coming off a 60-53 league win over Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 22-3.
The Broncos (9-16) will now prepare for their contest against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX). The Wolves enter the 5A Region III District 22 contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Shoemaker ran past Waco (Waco, TX), 89-33, in a league contest.
