Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons (Punta Gorda, FL) and the host Fort Myers Green Wave (Fort Myers, FL), saw Charlotte's basketball squad knock off Fort Myers by a count of 56-37.

With the victory, Charlotte upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Fightin' Tarpons host Saint Stephen's Episcopal (Bradenton, FL) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Saint Stephen's Episcopal lost 50-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL)

Next up, the Green Wave play the Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Fort Myers will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
