January 12, 2024: Lake Charles, LA 70601 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) and the visiting Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA), saw St. Louis Catholic's basketball squad hold off Church Point by a tally of 54-50.
With the victory, St. Louis Catholic improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Loreauville (Loreauville, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Loreauville won 67-37 in their recent league challenge against Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA)
Next up, the Bears play the East Beauregard Trojans (DeRidder, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Church Point will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 56-44 league loss to Merryville (Merryville, LA).
