December 8, 2023: Church Point, LA 70525 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA) and the visiting Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA), saw Church Point's basketball squad hold off Rayne by a tally of 53-50.
With the victory, Church Point improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Brusly (Brusly, LA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-0.
Next up, the Wolves confront the Crowley Gent (Crowley, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Rayne will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Gent go into the test with a 5-2 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Carencro (Lafayette, LA).
