Louisiana High School Basketball - Carencro fells Church Point
December 21, 2023: Church Point, LA 70525 Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Church Point Bears (Church Point, LA), 67-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Carencro upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bears travel to West Brook (Beaumont, TX) to clash with the Bruins in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 13-4. West Brook won 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Northshore (Slidell, LA)
Next up, the Bears clash with the Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Church Point will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 74-48 non-league loss to Opelousas (Opelousas, LA).
