The Trinity Christian Eagles (Willow Park, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Community Christian Warriors (Mineral Wells, TX), 58-51 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Pantego Christian (Arlington, TX). The Panthers go into the TAPPS 4A District 1 test with a 13-12 record.
The Warriors now own a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Dallas Academy for a TCAF District 5 test on Tuesday, January 16. Community Christian will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 65-43 non-league loss to St. Paul's Prep (Arlington, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
