January 19, 2024: Arlington, TX 76013 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pantego Christian Panthers (Arlington, TX) and the visiting Trinity Christian Eagles (Willow Park, TX), saw Pantego Christian's basketball squad hold off Trinity Christian by a tally of 57-51.
With the victory, Pantego Christian improves its record to 14-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Red River (Gainesville, TX) to play the Rattlers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 15-9. Red River won 58-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Westlake Academy (Westlake, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Lake Country Christian Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Trinity Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-22 record after their 80-56 league loss to Grace Prep (Arlington, TX).
