Texas High School Basketball - Covenant Christian tops Trinity Christian
January 30, 2024: Willow Park, TX 76008 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Covenant Christian Cougars (Colleyville, TX) and the host Trinity Christian Eagles (Willow Park, TX), saw Covenant Christian's basketball squad knock off Trinity Christian by a count of 48-38.
With the victory, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Grace Prep (Arlington, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 20-9. Grace Prep won 46-25 in their recent league challenge against Midland Classical Academy (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Oakridge Owls (Arlington, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 73-41 league loss to Greenhill (Addison, TX).
