Texas High School Basketball - Midland Classical Academy nips Trinity Christian
January 5, 2024: Willow Park, TX 76008 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX) and the host Trinity Christian Eagles (Willow Park, TX), saw Midland Classical Academy's basketball squad hold off Trinity Christian by a tally of 38-37.
With the victory, Midland Classical Academy improves its record to 6-15 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Grace Prep (Arlington, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 4A District 1 challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Grace Prep lost 51-33 in their recent league challenge against Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Covenant Christian Cougars (Colleyville, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Trinity Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 70-47 league win over Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX).
