Oklahoma High School Basketball - Oilton holds off Coyle
January 12, 2024: Coyle, OK 73027 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Oilton Panthers (Oilton, OK) and the host Coyle Bluejackets (Coyle, OK), saw Oilton's basketball squad hold off Coyle by a tally of 39-36.
With the victory, Oilton improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Olive (Drumright, OK) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Olive lost 67-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Copan (Copan, OK)
Next up, the Bluejackets confront the Dover Longhorns (Dover, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Coyle will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 41-34 league loss to Pond Creek-Hunter (Pond Creek, OK).
