Illinois High School Basketball - Nokomis fells Edinburg
January 12, 2024: Nokomis, IL 62075 Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Edinburg Wildcats (Edinburg, IL), 70-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Nokomis upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Redskins host Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL) to clash with the Griffins in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Father McGivney Catholic lost 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Triad (Troy, IL)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Hartsburg-Emden Stags (Hartsburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Edinburg will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Stags go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 50-25 non-league win over DeLand-Weldon (DeLand, IL).
