The Vaqueros now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grossmont for a Grossmont - Valley battle on Tuesday, January 16. El Capitan will confront a Foothillers team coming off a 57-45 non-league loss to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 4-13.
The Sultans (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Matadors come into the Grossmont - Valley battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, Mount Miguel was toppled by Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA), 59-35, in a league battle.
