The Elyria Pioneers ran past the visiting Steele Comets basketball team by a final score of 58-48 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the Midview Middies (Grafton, OH) in a Southwestern game, on Tuesday, January 16. Elyria will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Middies enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 65-52 league loss to Avon (Avon, OH).
