Connecticut High School Basketball - Guilford tops Sheehan
January 12, 2024: Wallingford, CT 06492 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Guilford Grizzlies (Guilford, CT) and the host Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT), saw Guilford's basketball squad knock off Sheehan by a count of 67-59.
With the victory, Guilford upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT) to play the Governors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Governors come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Titans play the Foran Lions (Milford, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Sheehan will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 50-39 league loss to Xavier (Middletown, CT).
