January 12, 2024: Hattiesburg, MS 39401 Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hartfield Academy Hawks (Flowood, MS), 75-53 in a league bout.
With the victory, Presbyterian Christian upgrades its record to 20-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS) to play the Bruins in a MAIS 6A District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 19-2. St. Joseph Catholic lost 42-36 in their recent league bout against Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS)
Next up, the Hawks face the Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS) in a MAIS 6A District 1 game, on Tuesday, January 16. Hartfield Academy will attempt to move on its 14-7 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 15-6 record after their 60-55 league loss to Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS).
