Tennessee High School Basketball - Kingsbury knocked off by Overton
January 12, 2024: Memphis, TN 38117 The Overton Wolverines basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Kingsbury Falcons to 37 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memphis Central for a 4A District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Overton will meet a Warriors team coming off a 55-42 league win over Memphis East (Memphis, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 10-6.
The Falcons (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Whitehaven (Memphis, TN). The Tigers enter the 4A District 16 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Whitehaven ran past White Station (Memphis, TN), 62-52, in a league contest.
