Texas High School Basketball - Stacey overwhelms La Pryor
January 12, 2024: La Pryor, TX 78872 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Stacey Eagles (San Antonio, TX) and the host La Pryor Bulldogs (La Pryor, TX), saw Stacey's basketball squad wallop La Pryor by a tally of 74-26.
With the victory, Stacey improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Brackett (Brackettville, TX) to confront the Tigers in a 2A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Brackett won 54-49 in their recent league challenge against Charlotte (Charlotte, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Lee Academy of Science & Engineering Wolfpack (San Antonio, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. La Pryor will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 47-40 league win over Sabinal (Sabinal, TX).
