Oklahoma High School Basketball - Liberty crushes Mounds
January 12, 2024: Mounds, OK 74047 Liberty Tigers (Mounds, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mounds Golden Eagles (Mounds, OK), 79-35 in a league bout.
With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Tigers host Summit Christian Academy (Broken Arrow, OK) to play the Eagles in a Frisco bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Summit Christian Academy won 60-39 in their recent non-league bout against Haskell (Haskell, OK)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Dewar Dragons (Dewar, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Mounds will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 59-43 non-league win over Webbers Falls (Webbers Falls, OK).
