January 12, 2024: New Philadelphia, OH 44663 The New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH) basketball felled the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH), 43-28 in Friday's league test.
The Quakers (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Claymont thwarted Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH), 55-40, in a league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Madison Comprehensive for a Ohio Cardinal test on Friday, January 19.
