Ohio High School Basketball - Pickerington Central can't hold off New Albany
January 12, 2024: Pickerington, OH 43147 The New Albany Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Pickerington Central Tigers to 54 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heath for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. New Albany will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-44 league win over Newark Catholic (Newark, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-2.
The Tigers (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lima Senior (Lima, OH). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Lima Senior nudged Waite (Toledo, OH), 81-14, in a league contest.
