Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln Golden Lions (Gahanna, OH) and the host New Albany Eagles (New Albany, OH), saw Lincoln's basketball squad knock off New Albany by a count of 50-30.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Golden Lions travel to Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Licking Heights lost 58-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Westerville Central (Westerville, OH)

Next up, the Eagles play the Olentangy Berlin Bears (Delaware, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. New Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 62-58 league win over Hilliard Darby (Hilliard, OH).
