Nevada High School Basketball - Sparks knocked off by North Valleys

The North Valleys Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Sparks Railroaders to 57 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portola for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. North Valleys will battle a Tigers team coming off a 90-68 non-league win over Plumas Charter (Quincy, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-7.

The Railroaders (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hug (Reno, NV). The Hawks enter the 3A Northern - West contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Hug ran past South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA), 69-57, in a league contest.
