Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT), 67-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Winooski upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Spartans host Milton (Milton, VT) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Milton lost 59-57 in their recent league bout against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT)

Next up, the Olympians clash with the Craftsbury Academy Chargers (Craftsbury Common, VT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Oxbow will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 67-58 non-league win over Christ Covenant (Randolph, VT).
