Texas High School Basketball - Prairie Valley nips Saint Jo
January 12, 2024: Saint Jo, TX 76265 Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX), 50-43 in a league bout.
With the victory, Prairie Valley upgrades its record to 5-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Forestburg (Forestburg, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 1A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 8-7.
Next up, the Panthers play the Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Saint Jo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 64-55 league loss to Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX).
