Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 69-66 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rossville upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Frankfort (Frankfort, IN) to play the Hot Dogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Hot Dogs come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Frankfort won 49-37 in their recent league bout against Western Boone (Thorntown, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Anderson Prep Academy Jets (Anderson, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Tri-Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Jets come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 75-38 non-league loss to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN).
