Indiana High School Basketball - Clinton Prairie tops Tri-Central

Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 58-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clinton Prairie upgrades its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to North Newton (Morocco, IN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 11-11. North Newton won 51-36 in their recent non-league bout against River Forest (Hobart, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Providence Cristo Rey Wolves (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Tri-Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 1-18 record after their 67-29 non-league loss to Morristown (Morristown, IN).
