January 12, 2024: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 The St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) basketball nipped the visiting Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC), 57-55 in Friday's league test.
The Sharks (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record.
The Braves now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Lee Central for a non-league test on Saturday, January 13. Socastee will encounter a Stallions squad coming off a 45-42 league loss to Mullins (Mullins, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 10-7.
