Colorado High School Basketball - Ponderosa holds off Douglas County
January 12, 2024: Parker, CO 80134 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) and the visiting Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), saw Ponderosa's basketball squad hold off Douglas County by a tally of 49-48.
With the victory, Ponderosa improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Evergreen (Evergreen, CO) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Evergreen won 42-21 in their recent league challenge against D'Evelyn (Denver, CO)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Douglas County will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 67-15 non-league loss to Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO).
