Georgia High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson Academy fells David Emanuel Academy
January 12, 2024: Stillmore, GA 30464 Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Louisville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA), 47-33 in a league bout.
With the win, Thomas Jefferson Academy upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Briarwood Academy won 59-27 in their recent non-league bout against Westminster Christian Academy (Watkinsville, GA)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA) in a GIAA A Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 19. David Emanuel Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
