Georgia High School Basketball - First Presbyterian Day edges John Milledge Academy
January 12, 2024: Milledgeville, GA 31061 The First Presbyterian Day Vikings (Macon, GA) basketball nipped the host John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA), 45-40 in Friday's league test.
The Vikings (15-1) will now prepare for their test against Gatewood (Eatonton, GA). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Gatewood was tipped by Westfield School (Perry, GA), 45-44, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Deerfield-Windsor for a non-league test on Saturday, January 13. John Milledge Academy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 64-30 league win over Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA). The Knights record now stands at 10-4.
