Texas High School Basketball - Martins Mill overwhelms Frankston
January 12, 2024: Ben Wheeler, TX 75754 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) and the visiting Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX), saw Martins Mill's basketball squad wallop Frankston by a tally of 79-37.
With the victory, Martins Mill improves its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Cayuga (Cayuga, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Cayuga lost 56-23 in their recent league challenge against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX)
Next up, the Indians play the Kerens Bobcats (Kerens, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Frankston will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 59-28 league loss to Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX).
