Northampton Blue Devils (Northampton, MA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Holyoke Purple Knights (Holyoke, MA), 55-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northampton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA) to play the Lancers in a Freelance bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Purple Knights play the Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Holyoke will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
