North Carolina High School Basketball - Epiphany trounced by John Paul II Catholic

January 12, 2024: New Bern, NC 28562

The John Paul II Catholic Saints routed the host Epiphany Falcons basketball team by a final score of 69-28 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Saints face the NC GBB Academy National Eagles (Durham, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 15. John Paul II Catholic will attempt to move on its 14-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 9-10 record after their 64-48 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Sanford, NC).

With the defeat, Epiphany moves to 4-9 on the year. The Falcons travel to Greenfield (Wilson, NC) to face the Knights in a NCISAA Coastal Plain game on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights enter the game with a record of 4-5. Greenfield won 48-42 in their recent non-league game against Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC)
